Oh the interesting times while spent camping... I'll explain:
1. Navajo family reunion and 'Oy-oy-oying' at 10:30 along with several attempts of others across the lake for them to go to bed.
2. Van and truck reaching the end of the road (our camp) and not finding their company they were suppose to be meeting, listening to their conversation only 40 feet away, and the driver of the van crying because she had to turn her van around.
3. 'Sniff, sniff, sniff' ... 'Sniff, sniff, sniff'. Oh great!! We had visitors!! Raccoon/skunks (3 of them) smelling around our tent for food at 3:30. Should have put the boxed food and coolers at our feet. Not our heads.
4. Between 2 & 5 o'clock, the rock session 3 or 4 camps down.
5. Brett and his dad went fishing around 6. By 7:30, the down-pour had rolled in. In a frantic hurry, I dressed and grabbed as many things possible to save from getting wet. Sat out the rain for a while in the cab of the truck.
6. They went fishing again only to have the rain come back. After sitting it out a while again, we decided the wind wasn't gonna quit so we decided to call it quits.
What a trip ... Good laughs
